MAJOR TRAIN BLOCKS 2025

Indian Railway is conducting major train blocks for various reasons including rail maintenance, over bridge maintenance, platform renovation, doubling works, due to heavy rain etc. Even though we are updating the train cancellation details daily in some other pages, for more conveniences of readers we decided to mention the full details of the blocks with mentioning of station name , date, name of the railway zone which announced the blocks etc.

KALYAN – LONAVALA : TRAFFIC AND POWER BLOCK ON 06/07.12.2025

Special Traffic and Power Blocks are planned in the Kalyan–Lonavala section for extension of RandD Up and Down lines and one additional line in UP yard on 06/07.12.2025. The blocks will remain in force from 02:15 hrs to 18:15 hrs.

Central Railway announced that special traffic and power blocks will be taken for the extension of the R and D Up and Down lines and for adding one more line in the UP yard in the Kalyan–Lonavala section on 06 and 07 December 2025. The blocks will be in force from 02:15 hrs to 18:15 hrs.

The following trains, with journeys commencing on 06.12.2025, will remain cancelled:

Trains rescheduled for journeys commencing on 06.12.2025:

  • Train No. 20495 Jodhpur–Hadapsar Express will depart from Jodhpur at 01:00 hrs on 07.12.2025 instead of its scheduled departure of 22:00 hrs on 06.12.2025.
  • Train No. 22194 Gwalior–Daund Superfast Express will depart from Gwalior at 19:15 hrs instead of the scheduled time of 17:15 hrs.

Trains rescheduled for journeys commencing on 07.12.2025:

  • Train No. 11011 CSMT–Dhule Express will depart from CSMT at 15:20 hrs instead of 12:00 hrs.
  • Train No. 11019 CSMT–Bhubaneswar New Konark Express will depart from CSMT at 16:30 hrs instead of 14:00 hrs.

Diverted Trains List

Trains diverted for journeys commencing on 06.12.2025:

  • Train No. 12164 Chennai – CSMT Express will be diverted via Daund–Ahilyanagar–Manmad–Igatpuri–Kalyan, and halts will be provided at these stations.
  • Train No. 16332 Thiruvananthapuram – CSMT Express will be diverted via Ernakulam–Shoranur–Mangaluru Junction–Madgaon–Roha–Panvel, and halts will be provided at these stations.

Trains diverted for journeys commencing on 07.12.2025:

  • Train No. 12493 Miraj – Hazrat Nizamuddin Darshan Express will be diverted via Miraj–Kurduwadi–Daund–Manmad–Jalgaon–Nandurbar–Surat, and halts will be provided at these stations.
  • Train No. 17222 LTT – Kakinada Port Express will be diverted via Kalyan–Igatpuri–Manmad–Ahilyanagar, with halts at Kasara, Igatpuri, Manmad, and Ahilyanagar.
  • Train No. 22159 CSMT – Chennai Express will be diverted via Kalyan–Igatpuri–Manmad–Ahilyanagar, with halts at Kasara, Igatpuri, Manmad, Ahilyanagar, and Daund.

Regulated Trains List

Some trains will be regulated, and a few will lose punctuality.

Trains regulated for journeys commencing on 06.12.2025:

  • Train No. 20668 Jaipur – Yesvantpur Superfast Express will be regulated at Karjat for 30 minutes.
  • Train No. 11302 Bengaluru – CSMT Express will be regulated in the Pune Division for 45 minutes.

Trains that will lose punctuality due to regulation:

  • Train No. 16613 Rajkot – Coimbatore Express
  • Train No. 12163 LTT– Chennai Express
  • Train No. 12939 Pune – Jaipur Express
  • Train No. 22150 Pune – Ernakulam Superfast Express
  • Train No. 16506 Bengaluru – Gandhidham Express

Pune Suburban Services : Cancellation/Short Termination /Short Origination

Several Pune suburban services will be affected. The block will be in force from 02:15 hrs to 18:15 hrs.

Cancellation of Pune–Lonavala–Pune suburban trains:

  • The Pune–Lonavala local departing Pune at 00:15 hrs will be cancelled.
  • The Lonavala–Pune local departing Lonavala at 05:20 hrs will be cancelled.

Short termination of Pune suburban trains:

  • Lonavala–Pune/Shivaji Nagar suburban trains departing between 04:45 hrs and 17:20 hrs will be short-terminated at Talegaon.

Short origination of Pune suburban trains:

  • Suburban trains for Pune/Shivaji Nagar that are scheduled to depart from Lonavala between 06:30 hrs and 19:00 hrs will short-originate from Talegaon.

MADHUPUR – GIRIDIH SECTION : PERMANENTLY CLOSURE of MANNED LEVEL CROSSING from 30.12.2025

Eastern Railway has announced that Manned Level Crossing Gate No. 1/C/E in the Madhupur – Giridih section of the Asansol Division will be permanently closed for road users with effect from 30.12.2025, following permission from the State Government authority/Deoghar. Road traffic will be diverted through the nearby Level Crossing Gate No. 2/C/E.

DUM DUM JUNCTION STATION : 7 HOURS TRAFFIC BLOCK ON 06/07.12.2025

Eastern Railway announced that due to track maintenance work, seven hours (22:30 hrs of 06.12.2025 to 5:30 hrs of 07.12.2025) Traffic block has been planned at Dum Dum Junction Station limit, following arrangements in train running have been made:

  • Barasat – Sealdah: 33431/33432
  • Bongaon – Sealdah : 33813/33818
  • Dankuni – Sealdah: 32211/32212

Short termination/Short origination o­n 07.12.2025

  • Train No.33812 Bongaon – Sealdah local will be short terminated at Dum Dum cantt. station instead of Sealdah and 33815 Sealdah – Bongaon local will be short originated from Dum Dum cantt. station instead of Sealdah o­n 07.12.2025.
  • Train No.33512 Hasnabad – Sealdah local will be short terminated at Dum Dum cantt. station instead of Sealdah and 33511 Sealdah – Hasnabad local will be short originated from Dum Dum cantt. station instead of Sealdah o­n 07.12.2025.

Rescheduling of trains

  • Train No.13142 New Alipurduar – Sealdah Teesta Torsa Express (journey commencing o­n 06.12.2025) will leave at 14:35 Hrs. instead of 12:05 Hrs.
  • Train No.13154 Malda Town – Sealdah Gour Express (journey commencing o­n 06.12.2025) will leave at 23:15 Hrs. instead of 21:25 Hrs.
  • Train No.13164 Saharsa – Sealdah Hate Bazare Express (journey commencing o­n 06.12.2025) will leave at 15:55 Hrs. instead of 14:15 Hrs.
  • Train No.12344 Haldibari – Sealdah Darjeeling Mail (journey commencing o­n 06.12.2025) will leave at 19:55 Hrs. instead of 18:15 Hrs.

JAMALPUR STATIONS : TRAFFIC AND POWER BLOCK UPTO 22.12.2025

Eastern Railway announced that for launching of Girders of Road Over Bridge (ROB) between Jamalpur and Ratanpur stations and Track maintenance work at Dharhara, Dhanauri and Jamalpur stations, Traffic and Power Block has been planned in Jamalpur – Ratanpur section and Jamalpur – Kiul section in Malda Division from 07.12.2025 to 22.12.2025. Consequently, following trains will be regulates in different days between 07.12.2025 and 22.12.2025 as under:

Cancellation of trains:

  • Train NoS.73425/73426 Jamlpur – Kiul –Jamalpur DEMU (journey commencing o­n 07.12.2025 and 21.12.2025).

Rescheduling of trains

  • Train No.73435 Bhagalpur – Jamalpur passenger (journey commencing o­n 09.12.2025, 10.12.2025, 12.12.2025 and 13.12.2025) will be rescheduled by 75 minutes from Bhagalpur.
  • Train No.73435 Bhagalpur – Jamalpur passenger (journey commencing o­n 14.12.2025) will be rescheduled by 30 minutes from Bhagalpur.

Controlling of trains:

JASIDIH – BAIDYANATH DHAM STATIONS : CLOSURE OF MANNED LEVEL CROSSING GATE FROM 05.12.2025

Eastern Railway announced that the Manned Level Crossing Gate No. 6/SPL/E (Interlocked) between Jasidih and Baidyanath Dham stations will be closed permanently for road users with effect from 05.12.2025. The road traffic will be diverted through Double Box Limited Height Subway (LHS) with approach Road.

In view of developmental works in Chakradharpur Division, the following trains will be regulated as under:

RANCHI : PRE NON-INTERLOCKING UPTO 07.01.2026

South Eastern Railway announced that due to yard remodelling works at Ranchi, Pre-Non-Interlocking will be in effect from 10.12.2025 to 05.01.2026, followed by Non-Interlocking on 06.01.2026 and 07.01.2026. These works are being carried out to improve operational efficiency and enhance passenger safety. As a result, the following coaching repercussions will apply:

Indian Railways announced that the following trains will remain cancelled on the dates mentioned:

  • The 18602/18601 Hatia–Tatanagar–Hatia Express will be cancelled from 10.12.2025 to 07.01.2026.
  • The 58663/58664 Hatia–Sanki–Hatia Passenger will be cancelled from 10.12.2025 to 07.01.2026.
  • The 58034/58033 Ranchi–Bokaro Steel City–Ranchi Passenger will be cancelled from 10.12.2025 to 07.01.2026.
  • The 58665/58666 Hatia–Sanki–Hatia Passenger will be cancelled from 10.12.2025 to 07.01.2026.
  • The 18085/18086 Kharagpur–Ranchi–Kharagpur Express will be cancelled from 23.12.2025 to 07.01.2026.

  • The 13503/13504 Barddhaman–Hatia–Barddhaman Express will be short terminated and short originated at Bokaro Steel City. Services between Bokaro Steel City and Hatia will remain cancelled from 10.12.2025 to 07.01.2026.
  • The 63598/63597 Asansol–Ranchi–Asansol MEMU will be short terminated and short originated at Muri. Services between Muri and Ranchi will remain cancelled from 23.12.2025 to 07.01.2026.
  • The 18035/18036 Kharagpur–Hatia–Kharagpur Express will be short terminated and short originated at Muri. Services between Muri and Hatia will remain cancelled from 23.12.2025 to 07.01.2026.
  • The 13513/13514 Asansol–Hatia–Asansol Express will be short terminated and short originated at Mesra. Services between Mesra and Hatia will remain cancelled on 24.12.25, 25.12.25, 27.12.25, 28.12.25, 29.12.25, 31.12.25, 01.01.26, 03.01.26, 04.01.26, 05.01.26 and 07.01.26.
  • The 18635 Ranchi–Sasaram Express will be short originated from Piska, and services between Ranchi and Piska will be cancelled from 23.12.25 to 27.12.25, 29.12.25 to 03.01.26 and 05.01.26 to 07.01.26.
  • The 18636 Sasaram–Ranchi Express will be short terminated at Piska, and services between Piska and Ranchi will be cancelled from 24.12.25 to 28.12.25, 30.12.25 to 04.01.26 and 06.01.26 to 08.01.26.

UMBERMALI – ATGAON STATIONS : SPECIAL TRAFFIC AND POWER BLOCKS UPTO 11.12.2025

Central Railway announced that the Mumbai Division will operate a Special Traffic and Power Block between Umbermali and Atgaon stations to carry out 25KV AC OHE work in connection with the Khardi Yard project. Details are following.

Special Traffic and Power Blocks between Umbermali and Atgaon stations for carrying out work of 25KV AC OHE in connection with Khardi Yard from 02/03.12.2025, 03/04.12.2025, 09/10.12.2025 and 10/11.12.2025

  • Dated :- 02/03.12.2025 (Tuesday/Wednesday Mid night)
    • 03/04.12.2025 (Wednesday/Thursday Mid night)
    • 09/10.12.2025 (Tuesday/Wednesday Mid night)
    • 10/11.12.2025 (Wednesday/Thursday Mid night)
  • Duration of the blocks: 02:55 to 04:10 hrs = 01:15 hrs
  • Traffic Block Section: UP and DN NE Lines: Umbermali (Excluding) to Atgaon (Excluding)
  • Power Block Section: UP and DN NE Lines: Thansit to Khardi.

Regulation of UP Mail/Express trains

  • Train No.20104 Gorakhpur – LTT Superfast Exp will be regulated at Kasara from 02:45 to 04:10 hrs.
  • Train No.11002 Ballarshah – CSMT Nandigram Express will be regulated at Kasara from 03:23 to 04:15 hrs.
  • Train No.12174 LTT Mumbai – Pratapgarh Express /22110 LTT Mumbai – Balharshah Express/12545 LTT Mumbai Karmabhomi Express /12152 LTT Mumbai-Shalimar Superfast Express will be regulated at Igatpuri from 02:55 to 03:35 hrs
  • Train No.15101 LTT Mumbai Chhapra Express /12361 Asansol-CSMT Express /15547 Raxaul-LTT Exp/15267 Raxaul – LTT Mumbai Express will be regulated at Igatpuri from 03:05 to 03:40 hrs;
  • Train No.12112 Amravati – CSMT Express & 12106 Gondia – CSMT Vidarbha Express will be regulated in Bhusawal Division for 20 mins

Late Start of Suburban Train

  • Kasara – CSMT Local Schedule to leave at 3:51 hrs will start late from Kasara at 04.20 hrs

Note: Mail/Express trains, special trains, if any, late running or trains notified o­n later date, etc will be diverted accordingly as per operational requirement.

HEBBAL – KENGERI STATIONS : LINE BLOCK AND POWER BLOCK UPTO 27.03.2026

South Western Railway announced that in view of the Line Block and Power Block to facilitate the temporary girder insertion and launching works between Hebbal and Kengeri stations o­n the up line by BDA in connection with the three-laning of the Major Arterial Road of Magadi Road, the following trains will be cancelled, partially cancelled, and regulated as detailed below:

Cancellation of trains: The following trains will be cancelled for six days each, o­n their respective Journey Commencing Dates (JCO):

  • Train No. 56265 Arsikere – Mysuru Daily Passenger will be cancelled o­n 27.11.2025, 04.12.2025, 22.01.2026, 29.01.2026, 05.02.2026 and 26.03.2026.
  • Train No. 06269 Mysuru – SMVT Bengaluru Daily Passenger will be cancelled o­n 27.11.2025, 04.12.2025, 22.01.2026, 29.01.2026, 05.02.2026 and 26.03.2026.
  • Train No. 06270 SMVT Bengaluru – Mysuru Daily Passenger will be cancelled o­n 27.11.2025, 04.12.2025, 22.01.2026, 29.01.2026, 05.02.2026 and 26.03.2026.
  • Train No. 56266 Mysuru – Arsikere Daily Passenger will be cancelled o­n 28.11.2025, 05.12.2025, 23.01.2026, 30.01.2026, 06.02.2026 and 27.03.2026.
  • Train No. 66535 KSR Bengaluru – Channapatna MEMU will be cancelled o­n 28.11.2025, 05.12.2025, 23.01.2026, 30.01.2026, 06.02.2026 and 27.03.2026.

Partial Cancellation of trains:

  • Train No. 06526 Ashokapuram–KSR Bengaluru MEMU, journey commencing o­n 27.11.2025, 04.12.2025, 22.01.2026, 29.01.2026, 05.02.2026 and 26.03.2026 will be partially cancelled between Channapatna and KSR Bengaluru and will be short-terminated at Channapatna.
  • Train No. 16022 Ashokapuram–Dr. MGR Chennai Central Daily Express, journey commencing o­n 27.11.2025, 04.12.2025, 22.01.2026, 29.01.2026, 05.02.2026 and 26.03.2026 will be partially cancelled between Ashokapuram and KSR Bengaluru, and will originate from KSR Bengaluru instead of Ashokapuram.
  • Train No. 66580 Ashokapuram–KSR Bengaluru MEMU, journey commencing o­n 27.11.2025, 04.12.2025, 22.01.2026, 29.01.2026, 05.02.2026 and 26.03.2026 will be partially cancelled between Ramanagaram and KSR Bengaluru, and it will be short-terminated at Ramanagaram.
  • Train No. 66579 KSR Bengaluru–Ashokapuram MEMU, journey commencing o­n 28.11.2025, 05.12.2025, 23.01.2026, 30.01.2026, 06.02.2026 and 27.03.2026 will be partially cancelled between KSR Bengaluru and Ramanagaram and will originate from Ramanagaram instead of KSR Bengaluru.
  • Train No. 16227 Mysuru–Talguppa Daily Express, journey commencing o­n 04.12.2025 and 05.02.2026 will be partially cancelled between Mysuru and KSR Bengaluru and will originate from KSR Bengaluru instead of Mysuru.

Regulation of train:

  • Train No. 16021 Dr. MGR Chennai Central–Ashokapuram Daily Express, journey commencing o­n 05.02.2026 will be regulated enroute for 30 minutes.

DELHI : TECHNICAL MODIFICATION WORK : 30.11.2025 – 01.12.2025

Northern Railway announced that in order to upgrade the existing infrastructure of the Passenger Reservation System (PRS), technical modification work will be carried out during the intervening night of 30.11.2025 (Sunday) and 01.12.2025 (Monday). Due to this, the PRS application for the Delhi site will not be available for one hour. During this maintenance work, the following PRS services will be unavailable across Northern Region counters:

  • PNR enquiry
  • Current reservation and internet booking
  • Cancellation
  • Charting
  • Exceptional data report
  • PRS reports over the counters

PAKUR STATION : PRE- NON INTERLOCKING/ NON INTERLOCKING WORK UPTO 30.11.2025

Eastern Railway announced that due to Pre- Non Interlocking/ Non Interlocking work in connection with yard remodeling work at Pakur station in Khana-Gumani section over Howrah Division from 27.11.2025 to 30.11.2025, following trains will be regulated as under :

Cancellation of MEMU/Passenger Trains

From Barddhaman: 63063 Barddhaman-Tinpahar MEMU train will remain cancelled o­n 28.11.2025, 29.11.2025 and 30.11.2025.
From Tinpahar: 63064 Tinpahar-Barddhaman MEMU train will remain cancelled o­n 28.11.2025, 29.11.2025 and 30.11.2025.

Diversion of Mail/Express Trains

UP Direction

Eastern Railway announced that due to Track maintenance work between Plassey and Rejinagar and Dhubulia and Muragachha stations in Sealdah Division, 240 minutes (from 23:45 hrs. to 03:45 hrs.) Traffic Block has been planned o­n 25/26.11.2025, 27/28.11.2025 and 29/30.11.2025. Consequently, 53181 Sealdah – Lalgola passenger will be rescheduled by 60 minutes and will leave Sealdah at 00:30 hrs. o­n 26.11.2025, 28.11.2025 and 30.11.2025 and will be short terminated at Krishnapur.

Central Railway, Mumbai Division, will operate a Special Traffic and Power Block between Nilje and Dativali on the Up and Down lines to facilitate the dismantling of the existing Road Over Bridge at Sheel Phata (Km 47/8 to 47/0). This work is being carried out as part of the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation project.

Konkan Railway announced that as notified by South Western Railway, the following trains are Cancelled due to Line Block between Sankaval – Cansaulim – Majorda ( Single line) from 18/11/2025 to 01/01/2026 ( 45 Days).

  • The Vasco Da Gama – Kulem DEMU train (Train No. 56964) will remain fully cancelled for 45 trips from 18 November 2025 to 01 January 2026.
  • The Kulem – Vasco Da Gama DEMU train (Train No. 56963) will also remain cancelled for 45 trips during the same period.

Konkan Railway announced that it has been decided by Southern Railway to operate Pre – NI block for doubling of track between Thokur – Jokatte section for the work of cut and connection / insertion of new points at Thokur and Jokatte yard from 12/11/2025 to 23/11/2025. Repercussions are as under.

Northern Railway announced that due to Launching of columns, girders and bracings of Air Concourse Phase-I and II in Jaipur Yard over NWR, the following trains will remain temporarily partially cancelled/diverted/rescheduled/regulated, as under:-

South Central Railway announced that due to a traffic block for carrying out traffic facility works in the Kacheguda–Dhone and Kacheguda–Mudkhed sections of the Hyderabad Division, the following trains will be cancelled, partially cancelled, or regulated as detailed below.

Cancellation of Trains:

  • Train No. 77645 from Nizamabad to H.S. Nanded will remain cancelled on 13th, 14th, 15th, 17th, 18th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 24th, 25th, 27th, 28th and 29th November 2025, and on 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th and 9th December 2025.
  • Train No. 77646 from H.S. Nanded to Nizamabad will remain cancelled on 13th, 14th, 15th, 17th, 18th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 24th, 25th, 27th, 28th and 29th November 2025, and on 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th and 9th December 2025.

  • Train No. 11413 from Nizamabad to Pandharpur will be partially cancelled between Nizamabad and Mudkhed on 13th, 14th, 15th, 17th, 18th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 24th, 25th, 27th, 28th and 29th November 2025, and on 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th and 9th December 2025.

Regulation of Trains:

  • Train No. 57412 from Kacheguda to Guntakal will be regulated by 165 minutes on 1st, 4th, 6th, 8th, 11th, 13th, 15th, 18th, 20th, 22nd, 25th, 27th and 29th November 2025, and on 2nd, 4th, 6th, 9th, 11th and 13th December 2025.
  • Train No. 17024 from Kurnool Town to Kacheguda will be regulated by 75 minutes on 1st, 4th, 6th, 8th, 11th, 13th, 15th, 18th, 20th, 22nd, 25th, 27th and 29th November 2025, and on 2nd, 4th, 6th, 9th, 11th and 13th December 2025.
  • Train No. 17254 from Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (Aurangabad) to Guntur will be regulated by 90 minutes on 16th, 23rd and 30th November 2025, and on 7th December 2025.
  • Train No. 77204 from Kurnool Town to Guntakal will be regulated by 150 minutes on 30th November 2025 and 7th December 2025.
  • Train No. 77606 from Nanded to Medchal will be regulated by 180 minutes on 8th, 15th, 21st and 28th November 2025.
  • Train No. 17606 from Bhagat ki Kothi to Kacheguda will be regulated by 75 minutes on 5th and 12th December 2025.
  • Train No. 17057 from Mumbai CSM Terminus to Lingampalli will be regulated by 60 minutes on 5th and 12th December 2025.
  • Train No. 77641 from Kacheguda to Mahabubnagar will be regulated by 90 minutes on 8th November 2025.
  • Train No. 57411 from Guntakal to Bodhan will be regulated by 150 minutes on 8th November 2025.

JOKATTE – THOKUR : REGULATION OF TRAINS UPTO 09.11.2025

South Western Railway announced that Southern Railway has notified that the following trains will be regulated due to the doubling of track and related engineering works between Jokatte and Thokur. The details of regulated trains are as follows:

  • Train No. 16595 KSR Bengaluru–Karwar Panchaganga Daily Express, journeys commencing o­n 30.10.2025, 02.11.2025, 03.11.2025, and 04.11.2025, will be regulated en route for 80 minutes, 20 minutes, 150 minutes, and 30 minutes respectively.
  • Train No. 11098 Ernakulam-Pune Poorna Weekly Express, journey commencing o­n 03.11.2025 will be regulated for 150 minutes en route.
  • Train No. 16586 Murdeshwar-SMVT Bengaluru Daily Express, journey commencing o­n 09.11.2025 will be regulated for 120 minutes en route.
  • Train No. 11097 Pune-Ernakulam Poorna Weekly Express, journey commencing o­n 08.11.2025 will be regulated for 50 minutes en route.

BANGALORE CANTONMENT – BAIYYAPPANAHALLI : NON INTERLOCK WORKING UPTO 12.10.2025

South Western Railway has notified for change in the pattern of train services due to Non Interlock working of Bangalore Cantonment and Baiyyappanahalli- Phase 2 works in connection with Bangalore Cantonment – Whitefield quadrupling project as given below:

Partial Cancellation of Train Services:

  • Train No. 20642 Coimbatore – Bangalore Cantonment Vande Bharat Express leaving Coimbatore at 07.25 hrs o­n 12th October, 2025 will be partially cancelled between Baiyyappanahalli and Bangalore Cantonment. The train will be diverted to run via SMVT Bengaluru with additional stoppage at Baiyyappanahalli with timings 13.03 (Arr)/13.05 (Dep)
  • Train No. 20641 Bangalore Cantonment – Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express leaving Bangalore Cantonment at 14.20 hrs o­n 12th October, 2025 will be partially cancelled between Bangalore Cantonment and Baiyyappanahalli. The train will originate from SMVT Bengaluru at 14.20 hrs. Additional stoppage will be provided at Baiyyappanahalli with timings 14.28 (Arr)/14.30 (Dep)
  • Train No. 20671 Madurai – Bangalore Cantonment Vande Bharat Express leaving Madurai at 05.15 hrs o­n 12th October, 2025 will be partially cancelled between Krishnarajapuram and Bangalore Cantonment. The train will be diverted to run via SMVT Bengaluru
  • Train No. 20672 Bangalore Cantonment – Madurai Vande Bharat Express leaving Bangalore Cantonment at 13.30 hrs o­n 12th October, 2025 will be partially cancelled between Bangalore Cantonment and Krishnarajapuram. The train will originate from SMVT Bengaluru at 14.20 hrs
  • Train No. 66550 KSR Bengaluru – Jolarpettai MEMU leaving KSR Bengaluru at 08.45 hrs o­n 12th October, 2025 will be partially cancelled between KSR Bengaluru and Krishnarajapuram. The train will originate from Krishnarajapuram at its scheduled departure time of 09.10 hrs
  • Train No. 16519 Jolarpettai – KSR Bengaluru MEMU leaving Jolarpettai at 04.30 hrs o­n 12th October, 2025 will be partially cancelled between Baiyyappanahalli and KSR Bengaluru

  • Train No. 12658 KSR Bengaluru – Dr MGR Chennai Central Superfast Mail leaving KSR Bengaluru at 22.40 hrs o­n 12th October, 2025 will be diverted to run via Yesvantpur, Lottegollahalli, Banaswadi, SMVT Bengaluru, Baiyyappanahalli and Bangarapet skipping stoppage at Bangalore Cantonment
  • Train No. 16022 Ashokapuram – Dr MGR Chennai Central Kaveri Express leaving Ashokapuram at 20.40 hrs o­n 12th October, 2025 will be diverted to run via Yesvantpur, Lottegollahalli, Banaswadi, SMVT Bengaluru, Baiyyappanahalli and Krishnarajapuram skipping stoppage at Bangalore Cantonment

VIRANGANA LAKSHMIBAI JHANSI STATION : UPGRADATION WORK UPTO 08.01.2026

Central Railway has announced that due to the ongoing upgradation work at Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi station in the Jhansi Division of North Central Railway, from 25th November 2025 to 8th January 2026, a few trains of Western Railway will be affected. The details of the affected trains are given below:

Cancellation of Trains

  • Train No.09043 Bandra Terminus – Barhni Special, Journey commencing from 30th November, 2025 to 04th January, 2026.
  • Train No.09044 Barhni – Bandra Terminus Special, Journey commencing from 01st December, 2025 to 05th January, 2026.
  • Train No.05560 Udhna – Raxaul Special, Journey commencing from 30th November, 2025 to 04th January, 2026.
  • Train No.05559 Raxaul – Udhna Special, Journey commencing from 29th November, 2025 to 03th January, 2026.

Diversion of Trains:

  • Train No. 09189 Mumbai Central – Katihar Special, Journey commencing from 29th November, 2025 to 03rd January, 2026 will be diverted via Prayagraj Chheoki – Manikpur – Katni Murwara – Bina stations.
  • Train No. 09190 Katihar – Mumbai Central Special, Journey commencing from 25th November, 2025 to 06th January, 2026 will be diverted via Bina – Katni Murwara – Manikpur – Prayagraj Chheoki stations.
  • Train No. 04156 Udhna – Subedarganj Special, Journey commencing from 25th November, 2025 to 06th January, 2026 will be diverted via Itarsi – Satna- Manikpur – Prayagraj stations.
  • Train No. 04155 Subedarganj – Udhna Special, Journey commencing from 01st December, 2025 to 05th January, 2026 will be diverted via Prayagraj – Manikpur – Satna – Itarsi stations.
  • Train No. 09465 Ahmedabad – Darbhanga Special, Journey commencing from 28th November, 2025 to 02nd January, 2026 will be diverted via Guna – Gwalior – Etawah – Kanpur Central stations.
  • Train No. 09466 Darbhanga – Ahmedabad Special, Journey commencing from 01st December, 2025 to 05th January, 2026 will be diverted via Kanpur Central – Etawah – Gwalior – Guna stations.
  • Train No. 14320 Bareilly – Indore Express, Journey commencing from 26th November, 2025 to 07th January, 2026 will be diverted via Gwalior – Guna – Bina stations.

PALAKKAD DIVISION : FIXED TIME CORRIDOR BLOCK UPTO 30.10.2025

Southern Railway has announced that a Fixed Time Corridor Block has been approved in the Palakkad Division for October. Due to this, the following changes will be made to the train service schedule:

Rescheduling of Train Services:

  • Train No. 22638 Mangaluru Central – Dr MGR Chennai Central West Coast Express scheduled to leave Mangaluru Central at 23.45 hrs on 10th, 12th October, 2025 will be rescheduled to leave Mangaluru Central at 00.35 hrs o­n 11th, 13th October, 2025 (Late by 50 mins)

Regulation of Train Services:

  • Train No. 22638 Mangaluru Central – Dr MGR Chennai Central West Coast Express scheduled to leave Mangaluru Central at 23.45 hrs on 02nd, 03rd, 05th, 06th, 07th, 08th, 09th October, 2025 will be regulated for 20 mins enroute
  • Train No. 20910 Porbandar – Thiruvananthapuram North Express scheduled to leave Porbandar at 18.55 hrs o­n 23rd, 30th October, 2025 will be regulated for 40 mins enroute

CSMT MUMBAI : TRAFFIC AND POWER BLOCK AT CSMT FROM 01.10.2025 TO 19.12.2025

Traffic and power block at CSMT platform 18 for redevelopment work will be from 01.10.2025 to 19.12.2025

Central Railway announced that CR will operate Traffic and Power Block at Platform no 18 of CSMT, in connection with redevelopment work of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, being carried out by Rail Land Development Authority(RLDA).

Foundational work and erection of safety barricades o­n platform no 18 will be carried out during the block. The duration of block will be for a period of 80 days i.e from 01.10.2025 to 19.12.2025. During the block period, train operations from Platform no 18 will remain suspended from 01.10.2025 till completion of work and handing over of the platform by RLDA for traffic operations.

SAKLESHPUR – SUBRAHMANYA ROAD : LINE BLOCK UPTO 02.11.2025

South Western Railway announced that due to a line block for safety-related and railway electrification work between Sakleshpur – Subrahmanya Road section from June 1 to 11, 2025, the following train services will be cancelled:

  • Train No. 16539 Yesvantpur–Mangaluru Junction Weekly Express, which runs on Saturdays, will be cancelled from May 31 to November 1, 2025.
  • Similarly, Train No. 16540 Mangaluru Junction–Yesvantpur Weekly Express, which operates on Sundays, will be cancelled from June 1 to November 2, 2025.
  • Train No. 16575 Yesvantpur–Mangaluru Junction Gomteshwara Tri-weekly Express, running on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, will be cancelled from June 1 to October 30, 2025.
  • Its pairing train, Train No. 16576 Mangaluru–Yesvantpur Gomteshwara Tri-weekly Express, running on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, will also be cancelled from June 2 to October 31, 2025.
  • Train No. 16515 Yesvantpur–Karwar Tri-weekly Express, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, will be cancelled from June 2 to October 31, 2025.
  • Its return service, Train No. 16516 Karwar–Yesvantpur Tri-weekly Express, running on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, will also be cancelled from June 3 to November 1, 2025.

GORAKHPUR STATION : TRAIN BLOCK UPTO 02.12.2025

Western Railway announced that due to the blocking of Old Pit No. 1 and the permanent dismantling of Old Pit No. 2 at Gorakhpur station in North Eastern Railway, a few Western Railway trains will be affected. The affected trains are as follows:

  • Train number 05054, the Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Weekly Special, will be cancelled from 24th May to 29th November 2025.

  • Train number 05053, the Gorakhpur – Bandra Terminus Weekly Special, will be cancelled from 23rd May to 28th November 2025.

  • Train number 22921, the Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Antyodaya Express, will remain cancelled between Balrampur to Gorakhpur from 18th May to 30th November 2025.

  • Train number 22922, the Gorakhpur – Bandra Terminus Antyodaya Express, will remain cancelled between Gorakhpur to Balrampur from 20th May to 2nd December 2025.

  1. Now a days lot of trains are having loose times which can be utilized for eg train no 17031
    Mumbai Hyderabad express right time at solapur is 22.05 22.15 but it will come at 22.55 and leaves at 23.05 almost 40mts late but will arrive Hyderabad at 5.45 am instead of 5.55am
    Similarly train no 17319 which leaves secunderabad at 15.40 reaches at 22.10 to Hotgi and departs at 23.10 reaches Gadag at 5.20 leaves Gadag at 6.10 am and reaches Hubli at 7.25 am.The timings can be changed so that the train can reach Hubli at 6.50am.

    Train no 11304 reaches Dharwar at 15.15 and reaches Hubballi at 15.50 leaves at 16.15 and reaches Guntakal at 22.00 arrives at 4.20at vikarabad . If you cutshort halt at Hubli and other the train can reach 5.45 am secunderabad.

  2. Suddenly all the trains were cancelled causing inconvenience to passengers and the railway in one line regretted. The works as informed could have been segregated.
    Today I am stuck at Guwahati as our train was cancelled. We were in a group of about 100 passengers, going to Odisha, about 1000 KM’s most are senior citizens and ladies booked tickets in the month of February 19. The plight can be well imagined. The train was cancelled abruptly with out prior information. The train could be rescheduled/diverted as the train covers long route. The authority could have planned early and stopped booking and notify in the Newspaper in advance
