MUMBAI MEGA BLOCK: CENTRAL LINE, HARBOUR LINE, TRANS HARBOUR LINE, URAN LINE, and WESTERN LINE: February 08, 2026
Central Railway and Western Railway will conduct Mumbai Mega Block and Jumbo Block on most of the Sundays for the maintenance works of rail racks and other related works under both the Railway zones.
Central Railway’s Train Block is called ✅ Mega Block and Western Railway’s Train Block is called ✅ Jumbo Block.

Central Railway announced the details of Mega Block on Sunday, i.e., on 08.02.2026. Western Railway also announced the details of Jumbo Blocks in the Western Line on 08.02.2026. Mumbai local train mega block details are as follows:

CENTRAL LINE
CSMT Mumbai – Vidyavihar (10.19 am – 03.55 pm)
- UP and DOWN slow lines between CSMT Mumbai and Vidyavihar from 10.55 hrs to 15.55 hrs.
- DOWN slow services departing CSMT Mumbai from 10.48 hrs to 15.45 hrs will be diverted on DOWN fast line between CSMT Mumbai and Vidyavihar stations and will halt at Byculla, Parel, Dadar, Matunga, Sion and Kurla stations and further re-diverted on DOWN slow line at Vidyavihar station.
- UP slow services departing Ghatkopar from 10.19 hrs to 15.52 hrs will be diverted on UP fast line between Vidyavihar and CSMT Mumbai stations and will halt at Kurla, Sion, Matunga, Dadar, Parel and Byculla stations.

HARBOUR LINE
Panvel – Vashi Stations (09.45 am – 04.05 pm)
- UP and DOWN Harbour lines between Panvel and Vashi stations (excluding PORT line) from 11.05 hrs to 16.05 hrs
- UP Harbour line services towards CSMT departing Panvel from 10.33 hrs to 15.49 hrs and DOWN Harbour line services to Belapur/ Panvel departing CSMT from 9.45 hrs to 15.12 hrs will remain cancelled.
- Special local trains will be run on CSMT Mumbai – Vashi section during the block period.
TRANS – HARBOUR LINE
Thane – Panvel Stations (10.01 am – 03.53 pm)
- UP Trans-harbour line services towards Thane departing Panvel from 11.02 hrs to 15.53 hrs and DOWN Trans-harbour line services towards Panvel departing Thane from 10.01 hrs to 15.20 hrs will remain cancelled.
- Trans-harbour line services will be available between Thane-Vashi/Nerul stations during the block period.
URAN LINE
PORT line services will be available during the block period.
WESTERN LINE
Santacruz – Goregaon Stations (10.00 am – 03.00 pm)
- Western Railway will undertake a jumbo block between Santacruz and Goregaon on Sunday, 8 February 2026. The block will be taken to carry out maintenance work on tracks, signalling, and overhead equipment. It will be for five hours, from 10:00 hrs to 15:00 hrs, on the UP and Down slow lines between Santacruz and Goregaon stations.
- During the block period, all slow line trains will run on the fast lines between Santacruz and Goregaon. Because of this, these trains will not halt at Vile Parle and Ram Mandir stations due to platform constraints. However, Harbour line services (Churchgate–Goregaon) will be available at Vile Parle and Ram Mandir stations.
- Due to the block, some suburban services will remain cancelled.
- Some Borivali and Andheri services will run only up to Goregaon on the Harbour Line.
The detailed list of affected trains will be available with the Station Masters at all stations on the suburban section.
The maintenance mega block / jumbo block is essential for infrastructure upkeep and safety. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.
