Chennai Local Train Block Updates
Southern Railway will conduct Line Block and Power Block on most of the days in the Chennai Suburban section for the maintenance works of rail racks and other related works under Railway zones. Following are Chennai Local Train Block Updates.
CHENNAI EGMORE – VILLUPURAM (12:10 PM to 3:40 PM)
Sothern railways announced Chennai Location train block on Chennai Egmore – Villupuram section at Mundiyampakkam on 4th and 7th October 2025 from 12:10 pm to 3:40 pm.
Partially Cancelled Trains
Following local trains will be Partially Cancelled due to this
Train No. 66045 – Tambaram to Villupuram MEMU Passenger
- Departure: 9:45 AM from Tambaram
- Partially cancelled between Tindivanam and Villupuram.
- The train will run only up to Tindivanam.
Train No. 66046 – Villupuram to Chennai Beach MEMU Passenger
- Departure: 1:40 PM from Villupuram
- Partially cancelled between Villupuram and Tindivanam.
- The train will start from Tindivanam instead of Villupuram.
