To facilitate smooth travel during the Shravan Kanwar Mela 2025, Northern Railway has announced a robust plan involving special trains, service extensions, and key passenger amenities.
Kanwar Mela : Train Updates
Northern Railway has announced that, in view of Kanwar Mela 2025 during the month of Shravan, a series of Mela Special trains will be operated to ensure a smooth and comfortable journey for passengers.
Special Arrangements at Major Stations
To manage the surge in pilgrim footfall, special arrangements have been made at the following stations:
Stations: Raiwala, Motichur, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Yog Nagari Rishikesh, Jwalapur, Laksar, Roorkee, Kankather
Facilities Include:

Extension of Train Services up to Haridwar Station:
Northern Railway has announced the extension of the following trains to Haridwar station during the Kanwar Mela period.
- Train number 74022/74023 (Delhi–Shamli–Delhi DEMU) will be extended to operate up to Haridwar : Train 74023 will depart from Delhi at 20:00 hrs and reach Haridwar at 01:55 hrs the next day, stopping at Shamli, Thanabhawan, Rampur Maniharan, Tapri, Roorkee, and Jwalapur. Train 74022 will depart from Haridwar at 03:05 hrs and reach Delhi at 09:25 hrs with the same stoppages in reverse. This service will run daily from 11th July 2025 to 24th July 2025 from Delhi, and from 12th July 2025 to 25th July 2025 from Haridwar.
- Train number 64557/64558 (Delhi–Saharanpur–Delhi MEMU) will also be extended to Haridwar : Train 64557 will leave Delhi at 16:25 hrs and arrive in Haridwar at 22:50 hrs, halting at Saharanpur, Roorkee, and Jwalapur. Train 64558 will depart Haridwar at 02:00 hrs and reach Delhi at 08:45 hrs. This service will run daily from 11th July 2025 to 24th July 2025 from Delhi, and from 12th July 2025 to 25th July 2025 from Haridwar.
Operation of Mela Special Trains
To manage the Kanwar Mela rush, the following unreserved Mela Special trains will be operated:
- Train Nos.04413/04414 Delhi Jn – Haridwar – Delhi Jn. Unreserved Mela Special Trains : Train No.04413 Delhi Jn – Haridwar trains will depart from Delhi Junction at 16:45 and reach Haridwar at 22:55. Train No. 04414 will depart from Haridwar at 09:40 and arrive at Delhi Junction at 03:30. Train No. 04413 (Ex Delhi Jn.) will run up to 24th July 2025, and Train No. 04414 (Ex Haridwar) will run up to 25th July 2025. Halting : Delhi Shahdara, Noli, Gotra Halt, Fakharpur Halt, Khekra, Sanhera Halt, Ahera Halt, Baghpat Road, Sujra, Baraut, Qasimpur Kheri, Ailam, Kandhla, Shamli, Hind, Thana Bhawan, Nanauta, Sona Arjunpur, Rampurmani Haran, Tapri, Roorkee, and Jwalapur. - Train Nos.04311/04312 Moradabad – Laksar – Moradabad Unreserved Mela Special Trains : Train No. 04311 will depart from Moradabad Jn. at 04:15 and reach Laksar Jn. at 07:15. These trains will run up to 25th July 2025. Train No. 04312 will leave Laksar Jn. at 15:15 and arrive at Moradabad Jn. at 18:00. Halting : Balawali, Muazzampur Narayan Jn., Najibabad Jn., Nagina, Dhampur, Seohara, and Kanth stations. Composition : General class.
- Train Nos.04314/04313 Haridwar – Delhi Jn. – Haridwar Unreserved Mela Special Trains : Train No. 04314 will depart from Haridwar at 17:05 and reach Delhi Jn. at 23:10. Train No. 04314 runs ex-Haridwar and Train No. 04313 runs ex-Delhi Jn., up to 25th July 2025. Train No. 04313 will depart from Delhi Jn. at 07:55 and arrive at Haridwar at 01:10. Halting : Jwalapur, Roorkee, Tapri Jn., Muzaffarnagar, Meerut City Jn., Ghaziabad Jn., and Delhi Shahdara stations. Composition : General class.
- Train Nos.04316/04315 Yog Nagari Rishikesh – Delhi Shahdara – Yog Nagari Rishikesh Unreserved Mela Special Trains : Train No. 04316 departs Yog Nagari Rishikesh at 20:35 and reaches Delhi Shahdara at 03:50. These trains will run up to 25th July 2025. Train No. 04315 leaves Delhi Shahdara at 11:00 and arrives at Yog Nagari Rishikesh at 04:20. Halting : Raiwala, Motichur, Haridwar, Jwalapur, Roorkee, Tapri, and Shamli stations. Composition : General class.
- Train Nos.04318/04317 Yog Nagari Rishikesh – Alamnagar – Yog Nagari Rishikesh Unreserved Mela Special Trains : Train No. 04318 departs from Yog Nagari Rishikesh at 10:45 and reaches Alamnagar at 23:00. Train No. 04318 departing from Yog Nagari Rishikesh will run up to 9th August 2025. Train No. 04317 will depart Alamnagar at 23:00 and reach Yog Nagari Rishikesh at 10:45. Train No. 04317 departing from Alamnagar will run up to 10th August 2025. Composition : General class. Halting : Raiwala, Motichur, Haridwar, Jwalapur, Laksar, Balawali, Muazzampur Narayan, Najibabad, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, and Shahjahanpur. Composition : General class.
- Train No.04311/04312 (Moradabad–Laksar–Moradabad) will run daily from 11th July to 25th July 2025. Train 04311 will depart Moradabad at 04:15 hrs and reach Laksar at 07:15 hrs, with halts at Kanth, Syohara, Dhampur, Nagina, Najibabad, Muazzampur Narayan, and Balawali. Train 04312 will return from Laksar at 12:00 hrs and reach Moradabad at 15:15 hrs with the same stoppages in reverse.
- Train No.04314/04313 (Haridwar–Delhi Junction–Haridwar) will run daily from 13th to 24th July 2025 from Haridwar, and from 14th to 25th July 2025 from Delhi Junction. Train 04314 will leave Haridwar at 17:05 hrs and reach Delhi Junction at 23:10 hrs, stopping at Jwalapur, Roorkee, Tapri, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut City, Ghaziabad, and Shahdara. Train 04313 will leave Delhi Junction at 01:10 hrs and reach Haridwar at 07:55 hrs.
- Train No.04316/04315 (Yog Nagari Rishikesh–Delhi Shahdara–Yog Nagari Rishikesh) will also be operated daily. Train 04316 will depart Rishikesh at 20:35 hrs and reach Delhi Shahdara at 03:50 hrs the next day. It will halt at Raiwala, Motichur, Haridwar, Jwalapur, Roorkee, Tapri, and Shamli. Train 04315 will depart Delhi Shahdara at 04:20 hrs and reach Rishikesh at 11:00 hrs. This service will run from 11th to 24th July 2025 from Rishikesh and from 12th to 25th July 2025 from Delhi Shahdara.
- Train Nos.04318/04317 (Yog Nagari Rishikesh–Alamnagar–Yog Nagari Rishikesh) will also run as an unreserved Mela special. Train 04318 will depart Rishikesh at 19:00 hrs and reach Alamnagar at 10:45 hrs the next day, halting at Raiwala, Motichur, Haridwar, Jwalapur, Laksar, Balawali, Muazzampur Narayan, Najibabad, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, and Shahjahanpur. Train 04317 will depart Alamnagar at 12:05 hrs and reach Rishikesh at 23:00 hrs. This train will run from 11th July to 9th August 2025 from Rishikesh and from 12th July to 10th August 2025 from Alamnagar.
