MUMBAI MEGA BLOCK: CENTRAL LINE, HARBOUR LINE, TRANS HARBOUR LINE, URAN LINE, and WESTERN LINE: November 01, 2026
Central Railway and Western Railway will conduct Mumbai Mega Block and Jumbo Block on most of the Sundays for the maintenance works of rail racks and other related works under both the Railway zones.
Central Railway’s Train Block is called ✅ Mega Block and Western Railway’s Train Block is called ✅ Jumbo Block.

Central Railway announced the details of Mega Block on Sunday, i.e., on 01.11.2026. Western Railway also announced the details of Jumbo Block on 01.11.2026. Mumbai local train blocks details are as follows:

CENTRAL LINE
CHHATRAPATI SHIVAJI MAHARAJ TERMINUS (CSMT) – VIDYAVIHAR (10:55 AM to 3:55 PM)
Central Railway has announced a Sunday Mega Block on central line between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Vidyavihar from 10:55 AM to 3:55 PM on Up and Down slow lines.
Following are the details
Down Slow Line Services
Down slow local trains leaving CSMT between 10:48 AM and 3:45 PM will be diverted to the Down Fast Line between CSMT and Vidyavihar.
These trains will not stop at: Byculla, Parel, Dadar, Matunga, Sion, Kurla. After Vidyavihar, trains will return to the Down Slow Line.
Up Slow Line Services
Up slow local trains departing Ghatkopar between 10:19 AM and 3:52 PM will be diverted to the Up Fast Line between Vidyavihar and CSMT.
These trains will not stop at: Kurla, Sion, Matunga, Dadar, Parel, Byculla.
Special Traffic and Power Block – Diva Station
A separate special traffic and power block will be carried out for launching a foot overbridge girder at Diva Station.
Date: Early morning of 1 November 2026
Time: 1:10 AM to 4:25 AM
Railway workers will install a new footbridge at Diva Station.
Because of this:
- Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Madgaon Express (Train No. 11099) will leave at 4:00 AM instead of 12:45 AM.
- Mangaluru – CSMT Express (Train No. 12134) will be delayed near Nilaje Station.

TRANS – HARBOUR LINE
THANE – VASHI / NERUL (11:10 AM to 4:10 PM)
Central Railway has announced a Sunday Mega Block on Trans-Harbour line between Thane and Vashi/Nerul from 11:10 AM to 4:10 PM both directions.
Following are the details
- During the block period, all Up and Down Trans-Harbour services between Thane and Vashi/Nerul/Panvel will remain suspended.
- Down services from Thane towards Vashi/Nerul/Panvel departing between 10:35 AM and 4:07 PM will be cancelled.
- Up services from Panvel/Nerul/Vashi towards Thane departing between 10:25 AM and 4:09 PM will be cancelled.
- Harbour Line services between CSMT and Goregaon and CSMT and Panvel, as well as Port Line services between Nerul/Belapur and Uran, will run as per the normal Sunday timetable.
URAN LINE

WESTERN LINE
NO DAY BLOCK OVER WR on SUNDAY, 01st NOVEMBER 2026
BORIVALI – BHAYANDAR (11.30 PM – 04.30 AM)
Western Railway has announced a Jumbo Block between Borivali and Bhayandar stations on the intervening night of Saturday, 31 October, and Sunday, 1 November 2026, for maintenance work.
The block will be carried out on the Up and Down Fast Lines as per the following schedule:
- Up Fast Line: From 11:30 PM on Saturday, 31 October 2026, to 3:30 AM on Sunday, 1 November 2026.
- Down Fast Line: From 1:00 AM to 4:30 AM on Sunday, 1 November 2026.
During the block period, suburban train services on the affected lines will remain suspended.
The maintenance mega block / jumbo block is essential for infrastructure upkeep and safety. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.
